CRAYVALLAC® LA-350 is a modified urea dissolved in DMSO and is a pourable liquid rheology modifier for post addition to water-based coatings, such as waterdilutable alkyds and acrylic emulsions. CRAYVALLAC® LA-350 should be added to the coating as a slow stream under low to medium shear conditions to ensure sufficient dispersion. Although efficient stirring is required to ensure homogeneity, elevated temperatures are not required for activation and the use of excessive shear should be avoided.
